Product Share - Stocking Punch and Coordinating Stamp Set

It's not even quite October yet, and I'm going to get you thinking about holiday and Christmas cards.

I don't know about you, but my mindset isn't anywhere NEAR Christmas at this point, but I have totally fallen in love with this new punch and stamp set and I wanted to share.

The stocking builder punch is the latest in our line of builder punches, and of course it has a coordinating stamp set also, "Stitched stockings".

I recently challenged myself to do all 5 cards for a team swap I was doing with this set and decided that I would make only one of them a Christmas card, so that I could show the versatility of this awesome new set.

The swap was a 10 +1 swap meaning that for each of the 5 spots, I was to make 11 cards to send to our hostess - When all is said and done, I will receive 50 new cards for my inspiration station and all of the cards are made with toys and tools from the Holiday Mini!  I cannot wait to get my samples back and share them with you!

Would you like to host a workshop or class featuring this dynamic duo?  Let me know!  Want to have them for your very own? Contact me to order, or visit my demonstrator website 24/7 www.iscrapnstamp.stampinup.net!  Please don't hesitate to holler if you need a little help whittling down your wishlist, or if you'd like to come and take a look at some of the products and samples from the Holiday mini to help you make up your mind.

I'll post some of my creations with this set shortly and will have plenty of new cards to share once the samples arrive in the mail. Waiting seems to take way too long..

Whatever you're up to today, I hope there's some Crafty in it :)

Card Share - ScrapNStamp Cafe Card

I thought I'd start out the week by sharing one of the projects we made this past week with one of my ScrapNStamp Cafe groups.

This simple card features the Sizzix embossing template "stripes" (Page 218) on whisper white card stock (the photograph makes it look almost pink - but I assure you it's white!), certainly celery card stock (page 178), certainly celery grosgrain ribbon (page 178) and of course just a little bit of 'bling' in a single pearl accent (page 198).

The tag is punched with our decorative label punch (p 209) and stamped with a sentiment from the Happy Greetings Stamp set which I only just realized is no longer in our catalog - but you can use any sentiment of your choosing.

Would you like to make cards like these? Sign up for one of my ScrapNStamp Cafe Classes to make 2-3 projects. Class is just $20 or FREE with a $35 order placed that night.

SNS Cafe is held monthly in the following timeslots:

1st Tuesday of each month - 1PM - 4PM
2nd Friday of each month - 1PM - 4PM  OR 6PM - 12PM (Midnight Crop Edition)

If one of these dates don't work for you let me know and if there is enough interest we'll set something up.  Of course you could also collect a few friends and have a workshop all your own, and then you get all the hostess benefits!

You may have noticed that these dates also coincide with my Stamper's Clubs and Scrapper's Clubs! I recognize that a club is not for everyone - SNS Cafe is the all of the fun, and none of the commitment.  Come once, or come often - as our guest.  The only difference is that guests are not eligible for hostess benefits.

What is a Club? For a minimum of a 6 month commitment (35.00 each month) or a 10 month commitment ($20 each month) before tax and shipping, you get to build your stash of toys and tools as well as your completed cards and projects.  During one month of your commitment you get to receive all of the benefits of being a hostess.  (Minimum of $35 in products absolutely FREE based on incoming orders).

My next home workshop is set for September 21st in my home in Cardinal, ON. What a great chance to sample some of the new toys and tools from the new catalog, check out my inspiration station and CREATE!

Would you like to sign up for a class or club? Call me, or e-mail me :)

TGI - Monday! How Was YOUR Weekend?

I don't think I've ever been so thankful for a Monday..

Between moving a family member Thursday - a move that will go on record as the WORST MOVE EVER - or more affectionately termed Move from HELL - we are all lucky to be alive going into Friday.  We were at the 26th hour of being up straight as the last box came off the truck at 5 am.  At that point the trips between upstairs and downstairs (3rd floor - no elevator! ugh).

The truck had to be back for 9 am also, so about 3 we switched gears and emptied what was left of the truck, so that the able bodied (or what was left of them) people could cart them up and down the stairs and the rest wouldn't have to wait up any longer.  The truck was returned for 7, and 9 that morning boxes were still being ferried up the stairs.

We have a couple of loads of leftovers to take down that didn't make the truck, stored here and there but hopefully they'll be gone over the next few days..  Truly not a pleasurable experience.

Put on top of that I was the organizer for our Labour Day parade this year.  A few last minute cancellations really threw this first-timer for a loop, but thanks to a few awesome volunteers stepping up everything came together.  I've gotten to make some notes for next year..  for now I'm just thankful that it's Monday and that all of that is in my rear-view mirror for now.

So today it's on to some left-overs and a wait for the big brown truck. I have a raft of swap cards to make this week for a few swaps that I've signed up for due in a couple of weeks.

Scrapper's Club Tomorrow afternoon, and Stamper's Club Friday evening - It looks as though we're going to have a Club Friday afternoon as well.  Would you like to join for any of these?  Let me know!

My Monday morning Coffee and a Card weekly class begins next Monday also. For just $5 you can come in for coffee, tea or hot chocolate, visit with other crafty ladies and make a card.  If you'd like to make additional copies of the card, for just $5 more, you can make 2 more of the same card, or change it up to make 3 slightly different cards to add to your stash.

If you haven't taken a look at the new holiday mini, you can find it here:http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/iscrapnstamp/catalogs  Download them to your computer.  Or if you prefer let me know and I'll get you a copy when my order arrives this week..

My newsletter will be going out either tomorrow or Wednesday so watch for your copy. Watch for this month's contest to win a free gift certificate for 20.00 to shop the Holiday Mini..

Well I'd better run.. but I'll be back soon :)  Happy Stampin' Friends :)
